Just two letters (re) and words can be totally redecorated
and reissued:
Born with an “re” becomes reborn;
Build with an “re” becomes rebuild.
Fill with an “re” becomes refill;
Pay with an “re: becomes repay;
Be reassured with some “Re” words from the Old Testament as
they are reproduced and relived in the New Testament:
Old Testament
Re...
Refresh:
“but on the seventh day you shall rest, that you…may be refreshed (Ex
23:12)
Remove:
“so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Ps 103:12)
Renew:
“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength” (Isa 40:31)
Return:
“and the ransomed of the Lord will return” (Isa 35:10)
New Testament
Re…
Refresh:
“that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19)
Remove:
“But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed” (2 Cor 3:16)
Renew:
“yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (2 Cor 4:16)
Return:
“but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls”
(1 Peter 2:25)
In reviewing the “re”, I’m recharged as I reconsider,
refine and remake in order to readjust, reorient and reorder the recounting of
my reactions to life…
